I had a lovely stay at The Charlton House which offered an overall relaxing atmosphere and excellent spa services. The room we received was remarkable with a four-poster bed, which really enhanced my experience. However, there were some service hiccups that could have been better managed, especially regarding meal timing and information on scheduled activities. The beautiful grounds and spa facilities certainly made up for these shortcomings.

While the spa treatments were enjoyable and the afternoon tea was truly exceptional, we found the state of the rooms disappointing and the service lacking at times. Overall, there is potential here, but cleanliness and attention to detail need serious improvements.

We had an average stay at the hotel, which was disappointing considering our previous visits. The grounds and spa were enjoyable, but the dining experience didn't live up to the prices charged. While the staff was friendly, the service felt slow and disorganized at times. Overall, the hotel needs improvements and may no longer be our first choice for a spa retreat.
